Long ago the original humans moved out through space in massive colony ships that took several generations of crew to reach their destination. Lost deep in human history is the origin of the species. The sciences are expanded at exponential rate. Terrans are welcomed into the galactic community, and new trade and technology is introduced. Earth joins the SSG and learns of its origins. An envoy of Original Humans, called the Fraal, arrive on Earth and meet with the leaders of EarthGov. Then, just as it looked like Earth was to be invaded, the creators of the Sapient Species Guild, a UN like Galactic body, arrives and drives off the slavers. Alien planet pirates launch an attack on earth, their technology far superior to ours easily decimates the defence forces of EarthGov and start to lay siege to the Moon, kidnapping everyone and using them as slaves to be sold around the galaxy. We receive our first visit, from the wrong people. Forty five years later, with most of the solar system explored by manned ships, and colonies are thriving on Mars and the Moon. As a unified effort the world science community strives to reach the races of the galaxy. Over the next three decades slowly more and more countries join and a global peace settles. Ten years of war and terrorism erupt over the existence of a global government, but when most of the western world and the Asian governments ally, fully three quarters of the world are under EarthGov. Government established, cementing the already century old global peace keeping efforts into a governing body. The system is designed that if a player brings a note, race, some tech or some concept from a book or other resource that, if balanced, can be added to the game. With the GMs permission, all is possible.

Players are encouraged to take inspiration from the pages below and add or expand upon them.
